The service experience opens new windows of awareness and self-confidence, and it often helps confirm or inspire new academic and career choices.<\/p>\n<h2>One Requirement, Many Options<\/h2>\n<p>All Undergraduate students are required to take SL 100 Serving the World, a one-credit course, prior to graduation. Most students enroll in this course in their sophomore year. This service-learning course includes 20 hours of community service at your choice of Rivier partner agencies.
