New Student Orientation is an in‑person program for incoming students and their parents or guardians, designed to help you prepare for a successful start at Rivier.

At Orientation, you’ll:

  • Meet new friends and discover clubs, activities, and leadership opportunities to make campus life your own
  • Connect with Rivier staff and meet your Academic Advisor
  • Explore the wide range of resources available to support your success
  • Get familiar with the Rivier campus and learn what to expect in your first year
  • Receive your fall course schedule
  • Choose to stay overnight on campus for the full college experience

If you have any questions or need additional assistance with registration, please contact the Office of Student Engagement at (603) 897-8254 or orientation@rivier.edu. Please note that students need to be deposited to register.

Transfer Orientation is an in-person program designed to support incoming transfer students as they begin their journey at Rivier. This experience helps you feel prepared, connected, and confident as you transition to campus life. Please note that there is no separate program for parents or guardians.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet other transfer students, connect with Rivier staff and their Academic Advisor, learn about campus resources, explore the Rivier campus, and receive their fall course schedule—all while gaining a clear understanding of what to expect in their first year at Rivier.
