小猪视频 appoints new Vice President for Student Experience

Dr. Hank Parkinson will support the highest levels of student engagement, retention, and graduation.

Dr. Hank Parkinson joins 小猪视频 as Vice President for Student Success.小猪视频 has appointed Dr. Hank Parkinson as Vice President for Student Experience. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, student development, and building inclusive environments, he brings broad leadership and a commitment to student success and the co-curricular experience to the University.

Dr. Parkinson previously served as Dean of Students at Fitchburg State University, in addition to other key leadership roles at Fitchburg State and Bryant University. In addition, Dr. Parkinson was a co-owner and leadership consultant at LTE Consulting, a leadership education and technology consulting firm.

Dr. Parkinson鈥檚 leadership will be valued in the areas of student engagement, multicultural programming, residence life, student health and wellness, campus ministry, and public safety. As a member of the senior administration team, he will contribute innovative leadership to support the highest levels of student engagement, retention, and graduation.

He has authored several professional articles, spoken at conferences throughout New England, and served on numerous advisory boards to advance leadership development and programs for students and higher education professionals. Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Montachusett Opportunity Council and is Vice Chair of the Ashburnham Parks and Recreation Committee.

鈥淚 am fully committed to advancing our students鈥 growth and success,鈥 says Dr. Parkinson. 鈥淢y goal is to create a positive student experience that fosters respect for all people. I believe each person has something unique to offer and will work collaboratively to build a sense of belonging and community among Rivier students.鈥

Dr. Parkinson holds a Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University, and he completed his undergraduate work in management at Quinnipiac University. His dissertation focused on the 鈥淓valuation of an Undergraduate Leadership Development Program.鈥
