小猪视频 to Launch Sport Management and Cybersecurity Degree Programs
小猪视频 will expand its undergraduate programs in fall 2019 with two new business degrees.

A B.S. in Sport Management and a B.S. in Cybersecurity Management. According to the U.S. Labor Bureau, jobs in these disciplines will grow – between 2016 and 2026, faster or much faster than the national average for employment in other fields.
鈥淩ivier鈥檚 new degree programs are a reflection of student interest and projected U.S. employment demands,鈥 says Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM, Rivier鈥檚 President. 鈥淛obs are growing in these fields, and Rivier graduates will be prepared to build rewarding careers in support of New Hampshire鈥檚 and the nation鈥檚 economy.鈥
The Sport Management degree will focus on sport administration and management, marketing, accounting and finance, and communications. Graduates will be prepared to pursue positions as game day and event coordinators, athletics administrators, sport marketing directors, facility operations managers, financial and contract analysts, corporate partnership managers, and others.
The Cybersecurity Management program will offer a curriculum concentrated in cybersecurity management, business, computer science, and homeland and international security. Skills learned will prepare graduates for roles as information security officers and analysts, forensic computer analysts, security architects and systems administrators, as well as positions with local and federal law enforcement agencies.
鈥淲e view these new programs as natural extensions of the University鈥檚 current offerings, faculty expertise, and the University鈥檚 strategic plans for growth,鈥 says Dr. Douglas Howard, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The University recently announced large-scale plans to invest in new science and athletic facilities. Rivier is building a 30,000-square-foot, high-tech Science Center, which will support all students and provide learning opportunities for Cybersecurity Management students. Construction of a new Athletics Pavilion, plus field and gymnasium enhancements, will offer Sport Management students real-world experiences in sport marketing, facilities management, and game-day operations.
