In the typical residence hall, you will find:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Student rooms. The University provides beds<\/strong>, desks, chairs, dressers, micro-fridges, flame-retardant curtains, and closets. Most furniture is adjustable; no cinderblocks or homemade lofts allowed. All mattresses are extra long; bring extra-long twin sheets to fit. If you bring a rug, 5&#8217;x7 \u2032 rugs are best.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\">Internet access.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\"> Students have internet access in all residence halls via Wi-Fi. You may choose a wired connection (most gamers or tower computer users do); if so, you&#8217;ll need to supply your own network cable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\">Community spaces.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\"> Community kitchenettes are equipped with stoves, ovens, toasters, etc. Lounges house flat-screen TVs for streaming content through Xfinity on-campus services, included in your housing fee.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\">Laundry room.<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\"> Laundry facilities are FREE!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What You&#8217;ll Want to Bring<\/h2>\n<p>What you bring to Rivier is up to you, but there are some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rivier.edu\/student-life\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2025\/07\/20250716_WhatToBringToRivier.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dos and don&#8217;ts on this handy checklist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Where You&#8217;ll Live<\/h2>\n<div><iframe src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1165802701?h=80acf59049&amp;badge=0&amp;autopause=0&amp;player_id=0&amp;app_id=58479\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;\" title=\"小猪视频 | Living On Campus\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/api\/player.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3>Guild Hall<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Houses 170 students<\/li>\n<li>Staffed with a hall director and five to six resident assistants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guild Hall is home to most first-year students, with a few upperclassmen electing to stay for another year. It&#8217;s a very social environment, the perfect community for anyone new to college. All of the rooms are doubles or triples. Guild features a lounge with a pool table, ping pong table, vending machines, and a kitchen. The large main lounge is a great gathering space with a big-screen television and a fireplace. The Office of Residence Life and Housing, the RA Office, and the Health Services Office are located on the first floor of Guild.<\/p>\n<h3>Trinity Hall<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Houses 110 students<\/li>\n<li>Staffed with a hall director and three resident assistants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sophomores, juniors, and seniors live in Trinity Hall&#8217;s double rooms, as well as a few in singles, triples, and quads. Trinity Hall has four levels; each resident floor has a full kitchenette with all the necessities for residence hall living, including toasters, microwaves, stoves\/ovens, and refrigerators. The ground floor has a student lounge equipped with a large-screen TV for streaming content via Xfinity on campus, a pool table, study tables, vending machines, and student mail access. The second floor offers a quiet study space with internet access.<\/p>\n<h3>Presentation Hall<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Houses 30-40 students<\/li>\n<li>Staffed by one resident assistant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Presentation Hall is home to students ranging from first-years to seniors. Many students who live in Presentation choose to remain here during their four years at Rivier. Presentation Hall features a 12-suite configuration; each suite contains two bedrooms, as well as a full bathroom with a toilet, tub\/shower, and sink. The building features two large common rooms: one for study and one for socializing. The first floor has a full kitchen and eating area, as well as laundry facilities.<\/p>\n<h3>Brassard Hall<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Houses 120 students<\/li>\n<li>Staffed with a hall director and three resident assistants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Brassard Hall offers suite-style apartment living and houses sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Each suite consists of four double rooms and one triple, two bathrooms, two vanities, a kitchenette with sink and cabinets, and a large common area. Each floor has a common area outside of the suites. The second floor has a full kitchen and laundry facilities (at no charge), and resident mailboxes. The third floor features three small, quiet study areas for students. Brassard Hall offers a significant amount of independence compared to the other residence halls on campus.<\/p>\n<h3>Rivier Village<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Houses 72 students<\/li>\n<li>Staffed with a hall director and two resident assistants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Opened in 2024, Rivier Village offers four-person apartments for upper-level students. Each apartment has two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living area, and an in-unit washer and dryer. In each building, seven apartments have four single bedrooms, while two have two double bedrooms. The main entrances open to a common room with soft seating and a fireplace, while the second floors have two hallway-end study nooks.
