Admissions FAQ

Do I need to be a Christian to attend Redeemer’s B.Ed program?

Christian faith is not a requirement in order to apply to this program, however candidates assent to being educated within the context of Redeemer鈥檚 Christian perspective.聽

Can I live on campus?

On campus housing is reserved for undergraduate students only.聽 All bachelor of education students need to find housing off campus.

Can I transfer into Redeemer’s B.Ed program from another B.Ed program?

You are able to apply for our program as a transfer student from another accredited university.聽 Having said that, transfer students will only be eligible for a spot in the program if space is allowed after all other direct applicants have been considered.聽 Our program is quite competitive, so there is no guarantee of being offered a spot to transfer in.聽 Also given the unique cohort-style scheduling of our program, transfer students will likely need to take part in at least 3 semesters at 小猪视频to meet all of our requirements.

How do my references submit their form?

On the application, you will be asked to provide the names and contact information of two individuals who are familiar with your volunteer experience and/or are able to describe your skills and personal qualities that would make you a suitable candidate for the Bachelor of Education program. Each reference will be emailed a secure online form to fill out and submit on your behalf. Once they submit, it will be automatically added to your application.

How do I submit my transcripts?

In order for transcripts to be considered official, they will need to be requested from your guidance office and/or Registrar to be sent directly to Redeemer鈥檚 Admissions office.聽 We accept transcripts via mail (小猪视频 Admissions, 777 Garner Rd E, Ancaster, ON, L9K 1J4) or email (admissions@redeemer.ca).聽 Students who received a high school diploma or post-secondary degree from an international university will need to have their transcript submitted through World Education Services (WES) for a course-by-course evaluation.

I had my heart set on working at 小猪视频ever since I started my PhD journey years ago — it is a joy and privilege to work here! I love the diversity of our students, the passion they have for learning new curriculum and pedagogy, and the unique life experiences they bring to enrich our classrooms. It鈥檚 humbling to see the growth in our teacher candidates over the two years we mentor and teach them — both personally and professionally.鈥
