In response to the changing needs of students and the marketplace, certificates and microcredentials will provide new educational opportunities while expanding Redeemer鈥檚 Kingdom impact.
Certificates are programs of study involving a specific body of academic work organized around clear learning objectives, and at 4-6 courses in length are more concise in learning outcomes than a typical degree.
STARTING FALL 2024 — Microcredentials are non-academic learning opportunities, enhancing skills and expertise or providing certifications relevant to specific industries or professions, and adapt quickly to changing trends and needs in various sectors.
In the NFP sector, there is a pressing need to equip leaders and managers with sound business training. This certificate program will provide learners with the necessary instruction to effectively and efficiently steward the resources of their organizations and registered charities.
As the scope of responsibility for local church leaders expands, the need for church leaders to obtain knowledge and training increases. These microcredentials will offer supplemental instruction on relevant topics for church board members and ministry leaders as they serve the greater Christian community.
